Like the Ossington street a decade ago, Geary Avenue is shaping up to be an exciting strip for food. Set to industrial aesthetics, it has been home to a few Portuguese restaurants for decades, but recently a cluster of restaurants and cafes have opened up to give the drag some vibrancy. This is a walking tour with a minimum of 5 stops.
Please note: Please note these tours are designed for adventurous eaters with a healthy appetite. We will be visiting a good number of places in a short amount of time, there will be a lot of food. All food tours include transportation from downtown Toronto (and drop off), and food and drink as part of my program. You'll only open your wallet if you want to leave an extra tip or purchase something extra at a shop. Each tour will host up to a maximum of six guests. And finally, while I will try to accommodate allergies when possible, there are no guarantees.
Time: 9:30am to 4pm (approximately)
